Mobile lure and monitoring system for close monitoring of insect pests using an adaptive, fully automatic LED light panel and simultaneous laser control of identified pests

The LuMoS Project (Lure and Monitoring System) is a follow-up project to the Lichtfalle project and aims to develop an innovative, autonomous system for the targeted monitoring and control of insect pests in open-field agriculture. Driven by the high demand for early and fine-scale pest monitoring, especially for regionally variable pests such as the European corn borer (Ostrinia nubilalis), the project seeks to provide a solution that eliminates the need for manual trap inspections or repeated checks, while preserving beneficial insects.
