MGR-K

The discharge-luminaire series MGR stands for the highest quality in terms of operational safety and durability with a protection class of IP65. The luminaire is made of die-cast and extruded aluminum and meets the technical requirements for research greenhouses, botanical gardens or seed breeding companies. Ballast and luminaire housing can be connected or mounted separately from one another. A high-pressure sodium discharge-lamp (HPS) or a ceramicmetal halide discharge-lamp (sun-like) can be used with the MGR-K.

With the MGR-K 400-UV it is possible to generate UV-A light (315-400 nm). The luminaire also emits a certain proportion in the visible light range. With an power of 465 watts, operated on a conventional ballast, this luminaire is ideally suited for intensive or large-area irradiation. The MGR-K is used in the research area.
